The Target Friendship Management System is a comprehensive support model developed to make your transition to university life smoother, more supportive, and more efficient.

This system brings together multiple processes within a single structure, including mentor leader and mentor selection, mentee application and matching, academic representative support, directing student concerns to relevant departments, as well as events, training, feedback, and reporting. It goes beyond a traditional mentoring program by offering a structured system that monitors student needs, manages solution processes, and strengthens institutional coordination.

The system was designed based on the real needs of students in the field. Challenges faced by international students in areas such as adaptation, communication, and sense of belonging were carefully observed, leading to the development of a sustainable and institutional solution.

It has been continuously improved through the collaboration of the International Student Relations Office, ISSTeam and TFTeam student groups, along with academic and administrative stakeholders, and student feedback. Over time, it has evolved into a unique and systematic model that includes matching, monitoring, training, and evaluation components.

In addition, we support students’ active participation in social life through events organized throughout the semester, such as International Student Day, Welcome Back Event, African Day, and Coffee Break gatherings. These events provide opportunities for students to introduce their countries, cultures, and cuisines, while also engaging with peers from diverse backgrounds and experiencing a multicultural campus environment.

Our team not only supports academic matters but also guides any challenges you may encounter during your adaptation to campus life. When needed, we direct you to the relevant departments and assist you in adapting more easily to both university and city life through our campus life guide.
